BEC was my fist test and I was undecided about the CPA Review Material I should buy. I really did not want to spend $ 400 – $ 500 per section to study only. I thought that at least two big names in the industry used Wiley (RogerCPA and Yaeger) and the books comparatively quite cheap, so I should run it. I actually tried Kaplan Schweser, because her whole package offered free for BEC (+ $ 15 shipping). I liked Kaplan’s lectures, but their practice questions were awful (full of typos, unclear explanations). About halfway through the study I figured out that practicing Wiley’s questions at the end of each module, the most effective way for me in my time was to study. I took the BEC test last weekend and now I am convinced that Wiley has the best questions. Wiley’s questions are very similar to the actual exam. Make sure you take to the practice test and go through the 50 AICPA questions at the end of the book (hint hint).
